Applications for the 4th intake of the CKN Clinical Champions program are now open

You are here

Most Queensland Health clinicians use CKN, but even the most frequent users will sometimes need help understanding CKN’s potential - we know that many people are barely scratching the surface.

The CKN Clinical Champions Program is helping building awareness and capacity among clinical staff to make the best use of the information resources available to them. This is your chance to get involved.

The program aims to:

  • Deliver specialised training modules to address gaps in a clinician’s practice and knowledge of CKN resources
  • Assist and support clinical leads in sharing clinical intelligence
  • Support research, publication and career development for healthcare professionals
  • Maximise the use of information available to all staff to promote collaboration and communication
  • Build capability of clinicians through education and information sharing

CKN Champions are clinicians who are not only enthusiastic about their professional development, but also interested in helping their team members and colleagues. People from a range of roles and specialties are encouraged to participate, with current Champions including senior and junior medical officers, nurses, midwives, allied health and pharmacy staff.

If you’re keen to learn more about CKN resources and share your knowledge, then we invite you to join us as a CKN Clinical Champion.

The first session starts on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 with a 1 hour overview webinar.

For more information please contact Cindy Slater by Monday 2 July.
