New to CKN: Browse your favourite medical journals with BrowZine

CKN is excited to announce the launch of BrowZine, making it even easier to find and read your favourite health journals. BrowZine (pronounced brow-zeen) is an intuitive and user friendly desktop and mobile app that allows you to browse, read and monitor CKN’s collection of e-journals, all in one simple interface. 

With BrowZine, you can: 

• Browse and read through thousands of top scholarly journals, easily review tables of contents, and download full text PDF articles
• Search by the journal’s subject, title or ISSN
• Stay current with a personalised “Bookshelf” of favourite journal titles and receive new article notifications
• Bookmark articles for reading at a later time
• Access on any device (iOS, Android, web) to stay up to date wherever you are, and presented in a mobile friendly format
• Save articles to read offline
• Export citations to EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley and other services

More exciting services are coming soon

BrowZine is the first of a number of new services being rolled out for CKN users over the coming months, bringing new ways to find and access journals and journal articles, from within the CKN website, from inside popular databases and from information sources on the open web. 

Richard Sayers, Queensland Health’s Manager of Clinical Knowledge Resources, said: “These products will be exciting and very welcome additions to CKN.  It is expected, based on experiences reported by researchers here and overseas, that the products will improve the overall user experience by simplifying workflows, accelerating discovery, and better connecting users with full text content. ”
