Qld Health is seeking your input into the future of CKN

You are here

CKN is Queensland Health’s online clinical knowledge service and functions as the agency’s only state-wide medical, nursing, pharmacy and allied health sciences library.

CKN has operated continuously within Queensland Health since March 2001; initially as an internally managed program before being transitioned in early 2014 to a program provided by an external vendor. CKN is managed by the Statistical Services Branch (SSB) within the Strategy, Policy and Planning Division (SPPD).

Queensland Health is in the process of undertaking a comprehensive review of the CKN model, including content, features and usability, with a view to future services at the end of the current contract. As part of the review, Queensland Health is seeking stakeholders' views on a range of questions so as to better understand the current state and future requirements for CKN. The Department is seeking your support to complete this survey and distribute and promote it to anyone in your workplace and network who uses CKN. The survey will be open until Tuesday 30 April 2019.

Please complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CKN2019

The review of CKN will be finalised by June 2019 and resources and services are expected to continue in their present form through to at least 30 June 2020.

Your support for this important review is appreciated.
